About the Artist

Hello and Welcome!

I am Raven Cutrano, and some of you might know me as Isabelle.

My mission is to provide the reenactment community with affordable period patterns.

I want everybody to be able to achieve their dream without having to break the bank or wait forever until the time is right, only to find something is out of stock, or be fearful of cutting into expensive fabric.

The Process

My inspiration comes from extant fabric pieces or clearly depicted fabrics from period artwork. Each pattern is carefully designed using digital drawing software, colorized, and then edited with software provided by the manufacturing facility to create test swatches. The finished fabric then will be made to order, it can be either shipped directly to me for in-person sales at events or drop-shipped directly to the customer.

I've sourced a manufacturing facility that offers small-batch custom prints, with quality products, and reasonable prices that I can pass on to you.

I have a degree in Architectural Design and in Art History, with a side of Anthropology. I've been a part of the reenactment community for over 16 years, and my main focus is fashion of the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries. I do speak some French In addition to English.

I look forward to working with you!

Please feel free to check out my blog if you are interested in the historical elements and design of individual fabrics.
